2010-10-09 06:50:40Ken fit? Aberdeen is a very parochial city, and I do know what that means cos I looked it up. I suggest you do the same. Trouble is its the same old faces on show all the time and, although Cheerz can't do anything about the crumbling facades of most of its punters, painting the place black and keeping the lights low isn't the answer. Aberdonians are particularly fickle folk so Cheerz must be doing something right. The club's only rival is just around the corner and its much classier looking and the music is less cheesy but its half empty most of the time while Cheerz is heaving. Once the PAs they have appearing now and again include a name someone outwith the performer's immediate family recognises it may get a little better but they gotta remember that Cheerz doesn't have a given right to be Aberdeen's number one gay club and it won't be the first to croak it when something actually better eventually comes along. 2010-08-15 02:14:39Many good nights here, really the only decent gay bar in Aberdeen. Probs best to overlook the negative comment above, Kyle, Ethan and the rest of the bar staff are brillaint, really involed with everyone nd fun to get served by. (The guy who wrote the comment musta been having a bad day :P)

2010-07-02 06:51:42I write regarding the apalling experience which I encountered at the Cheerz on numerous ocassions during recent visits. Having worked for a while, part time in the catering and entertainment industry I was left stunned at the total contempt shown by the staff at the Club to myself and my group and the disgraceful standard of service which we were offered. I do certainly hope that your managment can take some small steps to rectify what is currently, a truly horrendous clubbing experience and embarassment to the local gay community.
